RDAA Annual Show - 6th and 7th October 2007
Official coach at the annual Ringwood & District Anglers Association (RDAA) 2007 fishing show.
The Annual Ringwood & District Anglers Association 2007 fishing show on Oct 6th and 7th 2007 included: 2x marquees, catering, numourous competitions throughout the weekend, plus a selection of prizes donated by the traders on site. Those attending and presenting include: Sat 6th - Ian Welch, Terry Lampard, Ray Walton, Ian Nairn, Myles Gascoyne and Stewart Allum. Sun 7th - Mark Hutchinson, Jim Shelly, Chris Ball, Tim Wagnor, Terry Edmonds and Mitch Smith. Trade stands will include: P-Line, Cotswolds Baits, Todber Manor Fisheries, The EA, Temple Products, Venture, CC Moores, Korum, Rig Marole, Gardener Products and Palatrax on both dates. Attendees included Matt Hayes and Terry Hurn.
Sponsors were: Korda, Fox, Ringwood Tackle, BFL, Mainline, Dynamite Baits, Yateley Angling, Poingdestres and Carp Fishing News.
The entire Northfield complex, Main Lake, Washpit and Halfpit were closed from 6pm on 5th October until 6am on the 8th October.
Korda Angling Academy - May 2007
Smart Carping are an official coach at the Korda Fishing Academy for kids held at Chillam Mill in Kent.
The Korda fishing academy for kids was held the last week of May when 15 kids were taught the correct way of fishing and looking after the environment by qualified tutors. The event was over three days with much of the time spent in the classroom as well as on the bank. It covered all aspects of angling from fish welfare to baits and rigs. All the children were given certificates at the end of the course to say they were now competent anglers. It is the first of its kind in the country and again the response was so large we will have to make it bigger next year.

Go Fishing Show 2007 - March 2007
Official coach at the Go Fishing Show for the PAA.
Free coaching lessons were made available by the Professional Anglers Association at Pendigo Lake, just outside the doors of the NEC at the 2007 Go Fishing Show. Smart Carping were invited to provide coaching at this special event and provided excellent sport for children and adults alike throughout the day.
