Rachel and I would both like to thank you for a really enjoyable couple of days at Thorpe Lea; we both had a fabulous time. As well as learning loads about catching carp, we enjoyed your company and humour so much we both want to come back and do it all over again!
The two days together was very informative and the knowledge you passed onto us will build so much more confidence into our fishing. I was staggered that even as relative beginners, once you showed us the precise way to fish our particular swim, we were catching more fish than other serious carp anglers nearby. It just goes to show the importance of paying attention to the details and the accumulation of minute changes to rigs, bait and presentation compound into a colossal differential on number of fish on the bank.
As well as benefiting inexperienced anglers your understanding of the subject and carp feeding behavior was seemingly limitless and I would expect that the vast majority of dedicated Carp anglers would increase their catch rate if they booked a coaching session with you.
I mentioned earlier that in addition to the expert knowledge you passed onto us we thoroughly enjoyed your company. Let's face it, the whole two days was a really good laugh and it was great to combine so much fun into the learning experience.
If anyone is reading this with a view to potentially booking a session with Ian in my opinion I would urge you to do so and would suggest that spending a day on the bank with Ian is a very valuable investment which will benefit you for years to come.
