I would just like to say that this was the best 2 days fishing I have ever had. I was slightly nervous travelling 5 hours to spend 48 hours with someone I didn’t know but when I got there Ian was absolutely spot on and I felt at ease straight away! Having carp fished for 2 years I’ve had quite a few trips which ended in disappointment due to the lack of bites and fish on the bank I felt it was time to find out where I was going wrong.
It was brilliant being shown techniques step by step. I never felt rushed and was able to go at my own pace until I had mastered each step. If I didn’t understand the first time round Ian was patient and would show me again until I felt comfortable. I have learnt I a lot of new baiting and rig techniques which are explained a lot better than in fishing magazines and DVD’s. I can’t wait to get back on the bank and try out the new techniques.
I ended up having the best fishing trip ever as I beat my personal best twice in 48 hours and landed a total of 14 fish (which is the most I have ever caught in one session)my biggest at 22lbs 7ozs.
Ian was brilliant and is willing to give advice if I get stuck on my own fishing trips you couldn’t meet anyone more dedicated to teaching carp fishing.
I would advise anyone who wants to take up carp fishing or perfect their skills to have a session with Ian it was the best £250 I have ever spent.
