I have just got out of a well earned hot bath after spending a day with my mate John in the splendid company of Mr Gemson, who gave us a full on days fishing.
John had no experience on angling and I had some but Ian worked really hard to ensure that neither of us was bored or swamped with info, he had such patience with John and taught me so many new tactics that I am sure that I will only remember half of them the next time I am on the bank.
To top it all when john the "newbie" hooked into an 11 pound Carp (on the last cast on the day!!!) he talked him through it calmly and made sure that the beast was banked! I have only seen John smile more at his wedding.
If you are thinking of taking up fishing, or have done some in the past and want to polish up your skills and techniques then look no further than Mr Gemson, he is a mine of info and a blooming great laugh to boot.
